An 1821 Pattern Heavy Cavalry Officers Sword to Sir Bryan Leighton Bart, Wilkinson No: 43542.
With slender blade by ‘Henry Wilkinson Pall Mall London’ numbered 43542 on the top edge, etched with scrolling foliage, crowned GR cypher, regulation steel honeysuckle hilt with wire bound fish skin grip, in its field service scabbard.
The sword belonged to Sir Bryan Leighton Bart of the Westmoreland & Cumberland Imperial Yeomanry & RFC 1914.
