Description

A Scarce Flintlock Coaching Pistol by Harding & Son, dated 1835. With round steel barrel engraved, ‘J. HARDING & SON – BORO – LONDON No 312’ and stamped with Hardings proof mark the crowned broad arrow, beautifully engraved tang, stepped bevelled signed and dated lock, fitted with sliding safety catch, the lock is dated ‘1835’ and decorated with scrolling foliage at the tail, full-stocked in walnut (old crack to stock) with brass mounts comprising engraved trigger guard and turned ramrod pipes, complete with brass tipped ramrod.
