Beautiful Antique Cased Pair of Ladies Ivory Handled Percussion Muff Pistols with accessories, Circa 1840 – 1860. In very fine condition, the pistols with sharp engraving and Belgian, Liege proof marks. The antique ivory stocks are in good condition but do have a number of dark age related cracks (These are evident in the photos). The beautiful fine leather covered wooden case is form fitted for the pistols and accessories and lined in what case scarlet velvet (This has now faded to a pale orange but the original colour is evident when the contents are removed from the case). The original accessories comprise a white metal powder flask (No hallmarks evident), and a combination tool comprising a bullet mould, barrel key, turnscrew and nipple key all in excellent condition.
