Thomas Del Mar sales results

The 3rd December Thomas Del Mar sale of Antique Arms, Armour and Militaria produced some excellent results, not surprising considering the provenance of many of the best pieces. The top ten lots were all from the Armoury of the Princely House of Hohenlohe-Langenburg. The pair of silver-mounted holster pistols by Paul Poser fetched £37,300 (including buyers premium). The 39 bore Nuremburg wheel-lock sporting carbine c.1600 fetched £33,600, and a French bronze mountain howitzer sold for £26,500.
