Description
A Clean Percussion Pocket Pistol by Smith of London, Circa 1840. With blued turn-off barrel stamped below with Birmingham proofs, border engraved action decorated with stands of arms and signed LONDON in an oval to the right and SMITH to the left, the action and cock retaining much original finish (a screw missing in frame) slab sided walnut butt, trigger guard decorated with a star-burst on the bow, good crisp condition overall.
