A 120 Bore Six-Shot Pepperbox Revolver by Beatley of Basingstoke, Circa 1850. With fluted barrels decorated with bands of foliage at the muzzle and each individually struck with Birmingham proofs, foliate engraved rounded action with nipple shield, signed ‘BEATLEY BASINGSTOKE’ within a scroll to one side and engraved with scrolling foliage on the other, engraved bar-hammer, trigger guard engraved with scrolling foliage to the bow, finely chequered grips, in sleepy untouched condition overall.
